Thankfully the donor is almost spent. I have drawn up a list based on the one appearing in BYOSC and have removed almost all of the components that I'm interested in. These are:
  • Type 9 five speed gearbox.
  • 1800 CVH flywheel, clutch and clutch plate.
  • Transmission
  • Steering rack.
  • Steering column.
  • Steering wheel.
  • Radiator including hoses and fan.
  • Master cylinder and servo unit.
  • Clutch, brake and accelerator pedals.
  • Handbrake lever.
  • Battery.
  • Startermotor.
  • Ignition coil.
  • Horn and horn relay.
  • Fusebox, fuses and relays.
  • Flasher unit.
  • Brake light switch.
  • Seat-belts.
The only components that remain on the car that I intend to remove are:
  • Wheels and wheel nuts.
  • Hub assemblies.
  • Brake components.
  • Drive-shafts.
The only reason that they're still on there is that they're holding the car off the ground, which at this point is essential. Hopefully the remaining components will be removed in the hours before the scrapman arrives to take the rest of it away, which is yet to be arranged.
