This is the floor. It's 3mm aluminium and in a previous life took the roll of a sigh panel. 3mm is a little thick, but as it was free I don't see any problems with using it, Plus the extra weight this low down on the car will provide a lower centre of gravity.

In order to find the shape of the floor, the chassis was placed on top of the aluminium panel and the outline marked with a scribe. To cut it a jigsaw was used with an appropriate blade.
